The unique mosaic
pattern created by the
acrylic chip provides a
look reminiscent of
terrazzo but at a
fraction of the cost. To
insure you will enjoy

come, the TerraChip
system incorporates a
polyurea finish coat
with the latest
technology to minimize
the aging effects of uV
radiation.
A 100% solids epoxy
basecoat is used to
provide the foundation
of the system. Vinyl
acrylic paint chips are
applied to the basecoat
to provide the desired
pattern. The chips are
then sealed and finished
with the most advanced
uV stable resin
technology available
today. TerraThane, a
100% solids polyurea,
will provide you with a
truly superior finish.
Components:
TC BaseCoat: A 100%
solids basecoat which
provides excellent
adhesion to dry as well
as damp concrete.
TC Aggregate:
Vinyl-acrylic paint
chips used to create the
pattern.
TerraThane: A 100%
solids automotive-grade
polyurea finish coat for

gloss stability; also
provides UV protection
to the basecoat and
chips.

Flooring installation
typically takes 1 — 2
days for an average 2
car garage. Drying times
will depend upon air
temperature but you can
typically walk on the
floor after 24 hours but
we recommend allowing 72
hours before placing
vehicles and other heavy
objects in the garage.
In very warm weather
these times may be
shorter.
 Installation
begins with the preparation
of the concrete surface. The
floor is abraded with a
floor grinder to create a
profile for maximum bond to
the coating. Holes and
cracks are patched. We do
not acid etch the floor.
The base coat is
spread with a squeegee, then
rolled to an even thickness.
 The
floor is finished with a
high gloss light-stable
sealer. Like the basecoat,
this final coat is applied
by squeegee, then back
rolled to an even finish. At
completion, the coating will
have a total thickness of
.036”.
